ISSUE:

• Application for dealer licence and permission to conduct consignment sales
• Zoning issues - applicant advised that Cowichan Valley Regional District would issue a business permit once the dealership is licensed

OUTCOME:

• Dealer licence approved
• Consignment sales request was denied. Registrar explained the policy of requiring a considerable period in business and a positive track record before consignment sales could be approved.
